Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

What a wonderful conversion story. I could relate to some of what he said, as it wasn't a huge tragedy that led me to convert either. Truly it was the Blessed Mother, the Rosary and the will of God that brought me to the foot of the cross, the one true Church and the holy sacrifice of the mass. I shudder to think where my life would be today without it all. Praise God who has always looked out for me and led me where I need to be, even in spite of myself.

Holiness is not for wimps and the cross is not negotiable, sweetheart, it's a requirement.
