" in many problems we are tempted to think that maybe even god does not save me, I don't know, maybe I don't have the possibility to do so; the temptation against the faith is the final assault of the enemy and to this we must resist; so we find God and We found the life ".

So very precious. I miss him, but I miss Papa John Paul II as well. I still want to cry when I see him. Since he passed, on Stephen's b-day no less, he has come to my assistance in quite a few ways. It has been amazing. When he was alive, I used to send my guardian angel to him to give him a spiritual hug and kiss on my behalf. Not too long ago, I said to the Saint, "Now you know where that angel kept coming from."

He indeed was an exceptional human being and his legacy lived on ~ and papa emeritus benedetto i pray is in good health.

Love the spiritual hug sent ~ padre pio used to many times send his guardian angel on 'missions' :)

am sure saint john paul II is looking after his dearest friend Emeritus Pope Benedict, from above

When I saw this I knew in my heart that Cardinal Ratzinger would be the next Pope and said it here at the time.

a very devout Catholic family
both sons became priests (one a Pope)
Their sister Maria wanted to become a teacher but refrained on the grounds that she would have to teach innocent children Nazi ideology.
Card. Jozef Ratzinger took her in as his housekeeper
