I'm reading his book Behold the Pierced One for Lent and Holy Week reading.. i'm always inspired by the intricacy, subtlety and depth of this message. as well the breadth and integrity of his vision of the faith.

Saint Faustina urges us all to pray, regardless of what state we are in life. Both sinners and saints alike must pray, for God is the one who gives the strength needed to endure every trial. Without a prayer life, we are like fish out of water.

That's one of the books that i've intended to read but haven't got around to yet Denise.

The essay to which i referred i think was this, that nicely summarizes his views on the motive and form of the Mass, and what has been lost in the Novus Ordo. :)

Good points.. the word ordinary has come to mean mundane, unimportant or undistinugished in common usage.. whereas in the Church it is simply a way to denote a point in a succession of events, organized against 'cardinals' that divide the year into the liturgical calendar.
