Prayers for this Carmelite Nun

Post by Denise »

Yesterday we went to Dallas to visit my stepdad. We were in the large activity room and I looked up and saw this nun. Henry said she is a Carmelite from the Monastery in Dallas. She has a mental lapse and is very elderly. He said she sits in that chair by the front doors daily waiting for her Mother Superior to come and pick her up and take her back to the Monastery. It is so sad. So, it was St. Therese' birthday yesterday and I asked her to come and get her sister. Please pray for her. I can't remember her name.

From a monastery? She should be in the care of the sisters not a nursing home - though there are nursing homes for religious

She is in care of the sisters; sisters run St. Joseph's.

The nun's name is Sr. Angela; Henry said she has been there quite a while.
