Prayers please!

Post by Denise »

My brother just called me and told me he is in the hospital and has been there since the 14th. He was having chest pains so he went to the VA and they put him in an ambulance and sent him to a hospital in Sherman. He didn't want to call me until now because I fret so bad. He had stints, 5, put in about 7 years ago and they are saying he may need to do it again; they aren't quite sure yet.

Please pray for him. He is my only family left out of my immediate family. St. John of God is known as the Heart Saint so would you petition him along with me for my brother's recovery.

Thank everyone

Thanks for the prayers.

I have tried to call and text Dale since early this morning and neither I nor anyone else was hearing back from him. I was trying to stay calm. At about 4 PM I got a text from him with a bunch of thumbs up icons so I knew he was alive. At about 5 PM he called me and told me the doctor wanted to go in and look to see what was going on and he allowed it. He said they did a catherization through his side and had to put those balloons in where some of the stints were collapsing. That is all he could tell me because he had not seen the doctor after the procedure. While we were talking some staff came in so he had to let me go. He will update me when he can.

Dale just called me and told me he is getting ready to go home. He said he is feeling great. They cleaned the arteries out and he said even some of the stints were clogged so they cleaned those too. He was told not to pick up anything and he has to go back for a checkup in two weeks. I am so happy! God has answered our prayers! There goes his Christmas trip to Costa Rica. maybe next year!

Thanks for all the prayers. Thank you Lord, Our Lady and St. John of God!

Dale was admitted on Gaston's birthday. Gaston is his son that died at age 13. And it is also the Feast of St. John of the Cross. ✝

Well, he stopped by here yesterday on his way to Dallas to spend the night with friends and they are taking him to the airport this morning. He is going to Costa Rica after all. He should be pretty safe because Sommer is a registered nurse and the hospital is very close by. Keep him in your prayers please. At least he will get real rest and not be tempted to go out and get on that farm equipment and start doing things he shouldn't. He is in great spirits and looks great.

Dale returned home last night. He had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. I think it was good that he went because he was pretty stress free while there. He would send me videos and pictures of the scenery and it was awesome. The place is beautiful from what I could see. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers.
