In February, the body was transferred to a temporary case until it was transferred to the one that contained the saint’s body during the public exposition, which had only previously taken place in 1760, for seven hours, and in 1914, for one day.

Body of St. Teresa of Ávila During Public Exposition
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
Re: Body of St. Teresa of Ávila During Public Exposition
an extraordinary saint and Dr of the Church despite no theological training
but so sad to see her skull - face as in the picture in her casket

the forensic reconstruction doesn't resemble much the portrait that was commissioned of her
and that she sat at.
It is said that Teresa hated the portrait but acknowledged it was exactly her
as did others

scientific reconstruction seems different but i guess it would be difficult to estimate how much facial muscle and skin to incorporate

also nose seems different between the portrait and the scientific reconstruction of her face
"He who followeth Me, walketh not in darkness." sayeth the Lord
Re: Body of St. Teresa of Ávila During Public Exposition
perhaps a younger Teresa of Avila, in scientific reconstruction
"He who followeth Me, walketh not in darkness." sayeth the Lord
