Attendance at Francis' funeral compared to JPII

Post by Denise »

They are saying that 200,000 attended Francis' funeral Mass. Compare it to Pope John Paul II's

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

I watched on TV (ewtn) and was amazed at the holiness. I remember hearing of the long waits just to walk past, keep the line moving because sooo many people.
There were those ministering to people waiting in line, bringing them water etc so they would be okay and not have to get out of line.

Holiness is not for wimps and the cross is not negotiable, sweetheart, it's a requirement.
