Prayers for veiling

For the liturgy, "through which the work of our redemption is accomplished," (1) most of all in the divine sacrifice of the Eucharist, is the outstanding means whereby the faithful may express in their lives, and manifest to others, the mystery of Christ and the real nature of the true Church.

Prayers for veiling

Post by Denise »

Prayers you can say when you put on a veil.

Prayer #1

Lord Jesus, as I place this veil upon my head, I humbly offer myself to you as your devoted servant, a sign of my commitment to live a life of purity and holiness in your presence. May this outward symbol become a sign of the inward dedication of my heart to you and to your will. Amen.

Prayer #2

Change my heart, O Lord, that I may be fully conformed to your will. Fill my soul, that there may be nothing in it but You. Amen.
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
