St. Philip Neri said.....

In this forum you can write about your relationship with the Lord, your spiritual life, devotions you may take part in, works of Mercy you have done, what apostolates you are part of, ask for prayer, talk about the heavenly family (The Saints, Holy Mother, The Lord), talk about the triumphs in your life, and the misfortunes in your life.

"The relics of the saints ought to be venerated, and we may laudably keep them in our room; but it is not well, unless for some grave occasion, to wear them on our persons, because it will often happen then that they are not treated with all the respect which is becoming."

how true.
I cant recall the name of the saint's relic quite a long time ago....but his knuckle (i think it was) was travelling around. Then the grave would be opened again to break off another part. I recall being greatly concerned about that.

A former priest mentioned that he visited the site of the 'incorrupt' body of st rita but it was showing aging and looked quite alarming and should be buried: (though "looked quite well for a body that died in the 1400's)

We had Mass in our home last Saturday and all my relics were on the Altar as well as one the priest brought.

"It is an old custom with the servants of God always to have some little prayers ready, and to be darting them up to heaven frequently during the day, lifting their minds to God from out of the filth of this world. He who adopts this plan will get great fruit with little pains."
