Prayers for Dan Burke again please

Post by Denise » Fri Dec 17, 2021 11:45 pm

Dear friends in Christ,

You've never failed us before when we've asked for your help. Your prayers, I know without a doubt, are powerful—because you are people of deep faith.

Almost two years ago, it was your intercession that helped to heal Dan from a very serious and life-threatening experience of Covid. I'm asking you once more for your prayers, again for Dan.

Tonight, he was in an accident and has been admitted to the hospital for observation. He has some bleeding on his brain, and while often this can resolve itself, Dan's condition is complicated by the blood-thinner medication he's taking. The next 24-48 hours are critical.

Will you please storm heaven for my husband?

Please pray specifically for the intercession of Our Lady - 9 Memorares in petition and 1 in thanksgiving - that the bleeding will stop and there be no further complications.

Pray that he can return home in a day or two in full health.

I'm comforted to know that I have an army of prayer warriors ready to take up their rosaries tonight. I know that Dan's in good hands, physically and spiritually. And I have the peace that comes from trust in God's merciful love.

I will keep you updated.

In the meantime, please keep praying and be assured of my deep gratitude for you.

Yours in the Divine Physician,
Stephanie Burke

Yes! Our Lady to the rescue. Update

Dear friends in Christ,
Praise God for your faith-filled prayers!
Dan's brain bleed has stopped and he has returned home.
He will be monitored by a neurologist for the next two weeks with the hope that his body will absorb the blood and that he won't suffer any complications or seizures. Will you continue to pray that his recovery will continue?
Dan and I are both humbled and edified by the outpouring of love and support we've received over the last few days. This has been a difficult time but your prayers have buoyed us in the storm.
I think of the story of the paralytic whose friends opened the roof and laid him before Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, He healed the man. Never doubt that our prayers for one another are efficacious. This truly is the experience of being one in Christ Jesus!
Know of our prayers for you as well and our deep appreciation for your concern and intercession.

Gratefully yours in the Coming Messiah,
Stephanie Burke
