My grandsons have covid

Post by Denise »

My two grandsons in Louisiana have covid and are quarantined for 14 days. Luke is 15 and Kent is 20. Kent is not even where Luke is and I think Kent may have gotten it in the hospital when he almost sawed all his fingers off. Who knows.

Here is the message from Beth. She writes in shorthand so .............

Yesterday as soon as I hung up phone with u mom I got a call from Luke school bcuz he told them he couldn't taste or smell and so they quarantined him. he missed Monday went Tues missed wed due to his normal reasons he likes to miss school.#1 bcuz it's a private school who keeps up with attendance when u pay that much right?? #2 he gets sore throats a lot.. so Wednesday while home he started to tell me no taste or smell had started. I honestly didn't believe him so I made him go thurs morn and was talking him after school but he told the teacher while they were talking so I picked him up and I was SHOCKED!!

Took him to urgent care. We got results 15 mins later. so 15 classmates and his teachers all were sent home for 14 days. Luke is the first to test positive at his school. He had to have gotten it Tues at schl from someone that doesn't know they have it bcuz they are a asymptomatic bcuz he didn't go to funeral or anywhere else except school fri and since I don't have symptoms they would not test me. Shane was clear to go to work with a mask bcuz he wasn't around Luke because he worked late that day and Luke was in his room.

Kent also has it.

It appears that Kent got it from his girlfriend.
