Please pray for my husband

Post by Denise » Sun Jul 05, 2020 12:03 pm

Stephen is not doing well and hasn't been for along time. He WILL NOT go to the doctor and I fear that he has more wrong with him than what he thinks. I have begged and harped at him to go and so have all the kids and our Henry. He has insurance so I have no idea what his problem is. Please say a prayer for him; he looks like a holocaust survivor and I am not kidding. He keeps going and going until he almost drops but I don't know how he does it. Thanks for considering prayers for a return to his health,

I ask St. John Paul II to intercede for Stephen. I pray St. Pio give him a push to be see a physician! Jesus is the best physician and I pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to heal and cure Stephen. God Bless You All!!!

Thanks JB and Marie! I just got the scare of my life. Stephen gets up early and goes to work and when I woke up this morning he was still laying there. I guess you know what my first thought was. I touched him and he opened his eyes and said he had a rough night and he would get going in a little while. I left him to sleep and went back to check on him and he was in the same position. I touched him again and asked if he wanted to go to the hospital and he got very upset with me. I just let him alone. Oh dear!

I am please to say that finally Stephen called the doctor and he had three conversations with them today and was sent for lab tests. He has lost over 30 pounds in just a little while and that is a major concern. When the doctors get the labs back they won't call him for two weeks for a follow up but if they see anything questionable they will get in touch immediately and go from there. He is still in great pain and OTC stuff isn't working so he may have to ask for some prescription pain meds, which he doesn't really want to take.

Thanks for your prayers that he call a doctor and please pray that whatever he has going on isn't that serious and can be corrected. I did hear the word cancer come up in his talk with the doctor; I pray that isn't the case. :?

The blood work came back and they called us and said that everything was perfect except that Stephen is very iron deficient. We are waiting on the other test to see if that shows anything.

Jonathan and I are getting ready to take Stephen to the hospital. That @#^*&^+$^%$^ doctor's office still hasn't found him a doctor and he can't wait any longer. Pardon my French! He was ready to go two nights ago and tried to give the doctor a chance. When we called them and finally got hold of someone they said the lady that took care of that is out of the office for a week. Don't they have someone to take that person's place? This world has gone mad. And, I have to just drop him off because they aren't allowing me in there with him. :? :x
