i will miss his tweets.....i only initiated the Twitter to be able to hear from him

The @Pontifex Twitter account will go dark when Pope Benedict XVI retires Feb. 28, according to Vatican Radio.

The Pope’s tweets have turned out to be quite popular since their ballyhooed beginning 2½ months ago, CNN reports. More than 2 million people have registered to follow Benedict’s Twitter posts, which appear in nine different languages.

i've checked for tweets but alas...no new ones from the Holy Father....
i read that the twitter will go down until the new pope continues it

the twitter no longer bares the name "Benedict XVI@pontifex"

its now 'sede vacante@pontifex"

have sent a few twitters but not showing up
so not being made public i guess till the new pontif takes it over

i sent a twitter to ask if our Emeritus Pontiff could have a twitter account so can still receive our prayers, love and best wishes

do u think they will permit it?
I do so want to know how he is keeping ...and the days after...

God grant him long healthy life
