lucky seminarians

wish i could visit Papa Emerito Benedetto also

imagine the conversations that would take place :)

God bless him abundantly with long healthy life :)
Six seminarians from the seminary of Eichstätt recently made a pilgrimage to Rome over the Easter period.
The group was also received by Benedict at Mater Ecclesiae. Benedict was very interested in priestly formation at Eichstätt seminary. Benedict has an honorary doctorate from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, and he was involved in setting up the seminary in 1980 when he was Archbishop of Munich and Freising.

Christoph Wölfle said "For me, Pope Benedict has a serene and benevolent nature and he impressed me with the wide range of knowledge that kept popping up in conversation”.

Also impressive was the atmosphere in St. Peter's Square with the many international groups, which demonstrated "the joy of faith across national borders ".
