His writings are so brilliant.
I used a lot of his works when i was studying my Spirituality unit at University.

how i wish i could be there in person to kiss his hands and thank him for his contributions and fearless leadership for our Catholic faith, but alas, they dont permit 'unvaxed'
I will be attending Holy Hour at our Cathedral tonight to pray for his blessed soul.

just returned not long ago from the Cathedral's Holy Hour for the repose of the Soul of Pope Benedict XVI.

I must say that i was rather surprised that the Archbishop did not lead the proceedings. Instead Fr Michael Buck, a young priest led the hour quite beautifully, apologising for the Archbishop and humbly stating that he would be conducting the service "though unworthy"....

Beautiful Gregorian chanting and excerpts from the masterpieces of Pope Benedict XVI were read out, alongside the general veneration of the most Holy Blessed Sacrament.
