The theological legacy of Benedict XVI

Post by Denise » Wed Apr 17, 2024 8:16 am

Editor’s note: Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) was born 97 years ago today, on Holy Saturday, 1927. In recognition of that day, CWR is reposting this essay, originally published on Jan. 2, 2023, by one of Ratzinger’s students.

Happy birthday in Heaven Papa Benedetto.
You are missed

Contributions are immense.....in all my theological studies, his books were on the sources listed for every unit ....whether it was for Theology, or New Testament, or Old Testament or Spirituality or Ecclesiology, Ecumenism, etc.......His legacy lives on through his writings which are recognised today as crucial in Catholic Universities and Seminaries.

Rest in peace Pope Benedict XVI
