Please pray for our acceptance

We all love our animals and certainly when we have had them as long as 15 years. There comes a time when a pet is this old that the compassionate thing to do is have them gently put out of their misery. Nichole's dog, Jinx, will be put to sleep right before noon today and I am very emotional about it and so is she. It is will hard on her for a while but please pray that she will be ok emotionally. She is a huge animal person.

Here is Jinx, and me giving him a kiss last summer. He is a beautiful dog. I'd been cutting grass and stopped to love on him.

Well, our Jinx is playing in God's back yard now. God takes everything He created back to Himself and whatever He does with it is His business. It all belongs to Him and that is a comfort.

When Nichole got to the vet's office she brought Jinx and her into a room and gave Jinx a bunch of treats, which he enjoyed. Nichole said the process was gentle on quick. The vet left Nichole in the room with Jinx as long as she wanted to be with him and she cried her heart out. I have done my share of crying as well and it breaks my heart that my daughter had to go through it all. It just brings me back to losing my Cheyenne at the same age; she and Jinx looked so much alike. My little Buddy is 16 years and 2 months old and I dread the day ...........................

I will tell Nichole. I have seen another movie like this only it was a dog who went to people in need and then disappeared and went on to someone else. I don't remember the name of it.

reminds me of the series i used to watch when young "the littlest hobo"
about a german shepherd called "London" who did that
go around helping but then moving on
