As we approach the final week of Advent this Sunday and the fourth candle is lit, and we await the commemoration of the innocent child - and the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.......and we saw His glory......my prayers for all here that the joy that the Christ-child brings at Christmas may be with us always.
Blessed Advent, as we await the holy day of Christmas and cry out with humanity "Come Lord, Jesus"

though much work to do in preparation
but as St Thomas More states ....that despite "Mary choosing the better"......Martha's service was done with great love for the Lord also....her cooking and preparation to serve the Lord
