Prayer request, please

Last night I received this from a friend, Madonna, I have had for over 30 years. Please keep her in your prayers.

Please forgive me for not being in touch for so long. At the end of May, I had half of my right foot amputated due to Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD). While I was in the hospital, my sister Linda passed away due to cancer. Not only did I not get to see her before she died, I was unable to go to St. Louis for the funeral. No matter what you see on TV, it takes so long for an amputation to heal before you can even be fitted for a prosthetic.

I am at home using a wheel chair and a walking boot with a walker. It's still painful! I'm trying to figure out how to get back to work, even part time. The bills don't stop!
At any rate, I've been battling depression, even though I know other people are experiencing things MUCH worse.

I told her yesterday that you would certainly respond and she said to thank you in advance.

arrived an hour early and set up the church and quietly prayed
interestingly the name came to me during the prayer - difficult to explain but like a "dont forget to pray for Madonna"
may our merciful Lord continue to bless her with his grace to overcome all tragic setbacks and grant her much peace

Thank you Marie! I am going to share this with her. It will lift her spirits. She is a lot younger than I am and it is hard to believe she is in that shape.
