Prayers for Frances, please

My dear friend, Frances lives in the Baton Rouge area. There is no electricity because of the hurricane but they do have a generator; it is hard to find gas. She just let me know she has tested positive for the virus and she was fully vaccinated. I spoke to her and she sounds terrible. Please remember her in your prayers. We have been friends since were were 16 years old. She is the Erma Bombeck in my life.

How is she, today Denise?

I spoke to her Saturday evening and she said she had lost her taste and the only thing she could actually get a sense of is salt. She is still weak but her cough had lessened. I asked her when she got sick and she said it was the day hurricane Ida hit. She is half way through the 14 days that they say it should last. Thanks for praying for her.

I am sorry you are still on lockdown. I know Jesus is coming to you through the act of Spiritual Communions. Many cases here that were blamed on the virus are not real cases of covid but flu, colds and allergies. I just keep asking God to clean up this mess.

Frances told me today that she is 50% better and thanked all for the prayers. She has had a rough go of it.
