The FIRST SIGN something is not legit is....

Post by Denise » Tue Mar 19, 2024 12:56 pm

Disobedience. I don't care if the Bishop/Archbishop is questionable man, in this case obedience is required. God told St. Teresa of Avila when her confessor/spiritual director told her to do such and such, Jesus told her to be obedient and He would take care of the problem, which He did. St. Teresa was obedient and Jesus took care of it. There are steps to discerning a situation like the article talks about and being obedient is the key.

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

The concern with this pontificate is that the current pope francis seems to be confused about jurisdiction and feels that the title "Pope" permits him to swap and change the faith to what his own personal ideas about the faith might mistakingly be.

As mentioned in previous posts, the Deposit of Faith as handed down through the Apostles - these teachings cannot be altered in any way. All Bishops, including the Bishop of Rome - the Pope - have a duty of care to safeguard this Deposit of Faith as handed down. They must not preach anything contrary to the Deposit of Faith.

and this is something we recently saw with Bishop Strickland's comments regarding Francis
... I believe Pope Francis is the Pope but it is time for me to say that I reject his program of undermining the Deposit of Faith. Follow Jesus.
"He who followeth Me, walketh not in darkness." sayeth the Lord
