if only here they would also do it

but a priest celebrating in our Novus Ordo local parish made a comment about "showing off" and "piety" when wearing a veil at mass

argggh

i do wear a veil at the Latin Mass though but thats very far to travel to but wonderful to see all the women wearing their veils

my brother brought me back a couple of veils from the Vatican and i wore one of them when I sponsored my niece at her confirmation

its a beautiful tradition....wish here they didnt condemn it so much

Just posted the saint of the day, St. Matilda, and she is the patron of Falsely Accused People and People Ridiculed for Piety. We ask her to pray for the ill informed priest who made some pretty lame statements.
