Philip Hallford to die tomorrow in Alabama, please pray
Philip needs our prayers. He sounds sadistic according to the last paragraph of the following article. Let us pray for him and the victims involved.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Death row inmate Phillip Hallford has asked the Alabama Supreme Court to stop his execution scheduled for Thursday.
Hallford filed a motion for a stay late Monday raising several issues, including the claim that prosecutors withheld information from defense attorneys.
Assistant Attorney General Clay Crenshaw filed a response Tuesday saying the issues raised in Hallford's motion have been considered by other courts.
Hallford was sentenced to die for the 1987 killing in Dale County of his pregnant daughter's boyfriend. Trial testimony indicated that Hallford had been abusive to his daughter, Melinda Hallford, since she was 7 years old. Court records show that after killing 16-year-old Eddie Shannon, he made his daughter wear a necklace made of casings from the bullets used in the shooting.

I PRAYED A CHaplet for Phillip
Phillip Hallford, 63, was pronounced dead at 6:26 p.m. at Holman Prison and declined to say any final words. He spoke softly to the chaplain and guards as the injection was administered.
