New Norms on Alleged Apparitions

Heresy experiments in distortion; orthodoxy developes in proportion. The false emphasis is not only a wrong in itself but it is used as a means of diverting the eyes of men in the wrong direction. Van Zeller

New Norms on Alleged Apparitions

Post by Denise »

This could be very good or very bad. I guess we are getting ready to see just how corrupt or not some things can be?

The new norms take effect on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, abrogating the previous norms established under Pope Paul VI in 1978.

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

I hear your concern.

The local bishop was given the task because he has the jurisdiction over his area and knows the situation far better than Francis or any of his latest ordained ones.

But in the past, particularly with the fake medj phenomenon, despite all the bishops stating it was not the Holy Mother there...people kept hounding Rome about it.

Even francis himself stated in a televised interview that he doesnt believe its the holy mother appearing - so why not shut it down once and for all?

This new Fernandez that francis has appointed has been a worry in the past and now he declares this.......one can but wait and see what will eventuate from it

Recall a previous post on sexually explicit works written by Fernandez.

Warning explicit commentary follows
His book "Heal Me With Your Mouth: The Art of Kissing" was published in 1995; it contains a theological analysis on the art of kissing. The book resurfaced in 2023, following Fernandez's appointment to the DDF: he defended it...

In 1998 published in Mexico the book "Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality" that includes graphic descriptions of human sexual relations and discussion of what the Argentinian theologian describes as “mystical orgasm.” It depicts in detail an imaginary erotic encounter with Jesus Christ on the shores of Galilee. The book’s final section focuses on the human orgasm and its connection to divine intimacy.

This is the head of the Dicastery that once the great Cardinal Ratzinger held position when it was called the CDF
His relationship with Pope Francis dates to his work for the Argentine Bishops' Conference where he demonstrated his ability to incorporate different viewpoints in drafting group statements. As head of the drafting committee for the Aparecida Conference of CELAM in 2007, Francis relied on Fernandez' skill.

The resistance on the part of Roman Curia to Francis' selection of Fernández as rector of UCA is thought to have solidified Francis' support and prompted his naming Fernández an archbishop and giving him important assignments as well.
says it all.....there was resistance in Rome to this man's appointment as head, by Francis.....also all those documents that francis wrote....fernandez was the "ghost writer" behind them all it is allegated.
He has also been called Francis' "primary ghostwriter",[31] as well as his close collaborator
