‘Lady of All Nations’
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
Re: ‘Lady of All Nations’
I was privileged to have a private screening of the new Fatima film.
I think viewers will find it quite good - as previous versions dont go into half the detail of this new film....(new film has actual footage of visions Lucia had instead of just relaying back what the visions were.
Quite powerful were the scenes of the Holy Places burned down and the Holy Father shot.
What also catches one's attention - was when Lucia actually sees ......(SPOILER ALERT.....dont read on if you dont want to hear what happens before seeing the film).......Lucia actually was visited by the devil a few times trying to tell her to act contrary to what was said to her initially by the apparition. In one scene her father and her brother also are portrayed by the devil to sway her. Most profound was - the church scene when she hears the statue of the holy mother's voice beckon her to come forward and as she approaches - the snake the statue is standing on - flies out at her with fangs wide open.....she awakens from the 'dream'
St Teresa of Avila also had problems discerning which of her apparitions were from God and which were not. St John of the Cross advised her not to acknowledge any of the apparitions because if they are from the evil one, then she has not succumbed and spared herself being deceived and sinning ......and on the other hand, if they are from God - they will not go away until what was planned sees fruition.
