God's creatures, small and smaller.

I can sit on my front deck and watch the country critters come and eat. I am very close to where they feed. About 12 to 15 Mourning Doves hang out at my house but they are frightened very easily so I don't go out when they are eating; it scares them away. I also have a pair of Cardinals that live here but they are also skittish. Look at those tiny little bird feet, so precious.

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

oh i love them
innocent creatures trying to survive in the world
yet God feeds them as Jesus declared

we have birds come on my window sill and sing if i play the church organ
they tweet along lol

hubby says i'm crazy so i told him to sit a few minutes and observe

when i commenced playing they were back and singing
they love music so much ...as do I
and love seeing them out there
i feed them also but keep distance

on my sisters property they come and eat out of my brother in laws hands
so precious

thanks for the pics
