Pray as much as you can for the dying

Pray as much as you can for the dying," Christ told St. Faustina. "By your entreaties, obtain for them trust in My mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for certain souls in their final moment depends on your prayer. You know the whole abyss of My mercy, so draw upon it for yourself and especially for poor sinners. Sooner would heaven and earth turn into nothingness than would My mercy not embrace a trusting soul (Diary, 1777).

Our Lord said: "The prayer that pleases me most is for the conversion of sinners. This prayer is always answered" (Diary, 1397).

And this is what St. Therese did with her first spiritual child, Pranzini. She had so much trust in God and His mercy. :)
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

This reminds me of the Capital Mercy forum we have. Only in heaven will we know the fruits of our prayers for the souls mentioned there.
