Hi friends,

Dave Armstrong

Yes, you read that right. You can obtain my book Bible Conversations: Catholic-Protestant Dialogues on the Bible, Tradition, and Salvation, in e-book format, absolutely free. Follow the link for the Table of Contents, Introduction, and excerpts. I've often thought that this was the book I would most like to publish next in paperback, and the one with the biggest chance to succeed, of all my unpublished manuscripts. The subject matter is just right (always popular as well as controversial, which makes for lively discussion), and it is entirely composed (except for the appendices) of dialogues: my favorite way of teaching apologetics. This was the book I put together right after I wrote More Biblical Evidence For Catholicism.

So why would I do this, you may wonder? Well, I want to share the message, of course, but (as you would expect) there is a little something in it for me, too. It becomes, in effect, a form of advertising. The ones who request the book are asked to distribute it far and wide, to anyone whom they think might be interested in it. That, in turn (hopefully) generates more demand for other books of mine which are not free. So this is all I ask of you, if you would like the book. Please tell your friends, pass it around, "spread the word," and kindly direct them to my two book pages, if they like what they read:

I especially appreciate (from a "bringin' home the bacon" perspective) e-book orders (11 for $15 or $20 for PDF) because that is pure profit, whereas a paperback sale brings me only about $1.70. An e-book order is, thus, almost nine times the royalty rate of one paperback sale. So please send your friends (as many as possible!) my free e-book and mention to them, if you could, the two book pages above, and send them the links so they can go right to them. You can also pass along copies to your Protestant friends (especially anti-Catholics, who will love it!), for the purpose of better explaining these vexed issues from a Catholic perspective. Thanks for your assistance in this regard, and happy reading.

The book is yours for the asking, in either Microsoft Word 2000 or PDF / Adobe format (if you don't indicate which one, I'll send the Word file). The PDF file is larger, so be sure that you have room in your mailbox if you want that (it is 870K compared to 650K for the Word file). I can't send out CDs for this offer, because I anticipate a big response. It is, therefore, available only through e-mail. Just write to my e-mail address above (simply hit "reply" to this e-mail), and ask for the book (indicating format preference, and with "free e-book" in the subject line, to help me quickly spot it), and it's yours.
