That’s how many Christian denominations exist in the world today. Tens of thousands…and more keep coming.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus prays to the Father that His followers “may all be one, as You and I are one.” With tens of thousands of Christian sects, has Christ’s prayer gone unanswered?
The sheer number of Christian denominations can lead to doubts, fears, and misgivings about how to defend your Catholic Faith. After all, what are the chances that out of 45,000+ denominations, we just happened to pick the correct one? Have no fear! Jesus founded one, holy, Catholic, apostolic Church.

And now, bestselling authors Jesse Romero and Paul Zucarelli are here with a work that dives into this unshakable fact, showing how our Protestant brethren are missing the fullness of Truth, which is only found in the Catholic Church.

Romero and Zucarelli begin from the basic question:

“If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, how do we explain the wide range of beliefs among those who claim to love and follow Him?”

Through hard evidence and clear explanations of Church history, they will help you evaluate how firm your own foundation of faith is…and provide proven facts and reflection questions to make it stronger!

You’ll discover:

The historical origins of the Catholic Church founded by Jesus
What a “church” even is, according to man and according to God
The biblical basis for the universal (a.k.a. Catholic) Church
Where the tenets of the Nicene Creed (a fundamental Catholic statement of belief) came from
How the Church discerned the books to include in Scripture
The 4 supernatural proofs for the one true Church
…and more!
The reflection questions at the end of each chapter are great for personal consideration or group discussion—which makes it the perfect pick for your fall small group!

One Lord, One Faith, One Church is more than just a "how-to" apologetics book.

It’s an exploration of the richness of our Faith and an invitation to more fully embrace it in all its beauty.

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales

Ecumenism is high on the cards so the denominations may all be one but only God can bring a full turn around for all the other denominations - and will.

Many Ecumenism documents reporting on meetings etc while commence dialogue and lighten their rules, really don't effect a one only Christian denomination. Only God can effect total unity.

It took a great saint like John Henry Newman over 20 years to convert but convert he did, recognising the real fold.
Its all about salvation and John Henry Newman asked the Question "can i be saved (outside) the Catholic Church and it all came to light from there.

John Henry Newman: A Conversion To Die For
"He who followeth Me, walketh not in darkness." sayeth the Lord
