The particular passage quoted above IS parsed as poetry in the diary. It is not a paraphrase. I guess she was inspired to write that. God can work in mysterious ways.

Ah this is exactly how I should be living. My new year's resolution is to live this out more perfectly.

I have noticed that this is especially true for those trying to live out marriage as a sacrament. How the enemy hates a truly healthy, Catholic marriage and family.
